In use …
When we received our Buggy Love organic stroller cleaning kit, there was only one way to review it. Issue a cleaning challenge to the owner of the grubbiest stroller we could find. It was our dirt, banana, yogurt and general toddler/pre-schooler encrusted tester phil&teds vibe v. the Buggy Love organic stroller cleaning kit. It was a pretty even match.
We stripped our long-suffering tester vibe down to the basics. We chose to pop the seat liners (we tackled both the main & 2nd seat) and shoulder pads in the wash for ease (you may prefer to use the Buggy Love organic products for your whole pram, especially if your baby has any allergies or skin concerns). Then we tackled the seat units, hood and under seat basket with the Buggy Love cleaning kit.
Firstly, the Buggy Love brush is fantastic. It’s the standout product in the kit. It got into every fold, line of stitching, bit of padding and plastic or metal join quickly & easily. The plastic tip was effective in getting into the deep crevices where the seat folds and was also great in flicking out the sand in the under seat basket. (I also tried the Buggy Love brush on my own Bugaboo Bee, I always have trouble getting the crumbs and sand out of the seat folds, it worked a treat.)
Next came the Buggy Love FABRICLove stain remover, we used it conduction with the micro fiber cloth (the brush was too stiff for the Vibe’s fabric seat, but can be used with the stain remover on tougher fabrics). It lifted the yogurt & banana easily, but we did have a couple of stubborn oil based stains which the FABRICLove lessened, but didm’t totally remove.
The POLISHLove did a great job on the chassis. There were some marks on the chassis we thought were scratches that were actually removed by the Buggy Love POLISHLove.
Finally we used the WHEELLove which bought the wheels up and we finished by spraying the freshly cleaned seat liners with the Buggy Love FRESHLove spray.
So the question is, who won the challenge? You can see the before & after shots below, but its safe to say, our tester vibe come up looking as good as new. Plus, it smelt good enough to eat.
Consider this …
The Buggy Love FABRICLove stain remover is the product you’ll use the most, but comes in one of the smallest bottles. Also, because it’s oil based, you can’t use FABRICLove for spot cleaning, you need to give the whole area (hood, seat liner, etc) the once over.
Like all micro fibre products, you should only wash the Buggy Love cloth when you absolutely have to. You may need to replace it after a few washes.
The verdict …
When you invest in a good quality pram or stroller, it’s worth investing in a Buggy Love organic stroller cleaning kit to keep it in pristine condition. Buggy Love stroller cleaning kits are also great to refresh your current pram for a new baby or a second hand stroller.
